About me
I'm Priyanka - an Applied AI & Data Management Consultant with 23+ years of IT experience, based in the Netherlands since 2008, with a growing focus on Applied AI - using LLM-based tools and modern data practices to solve real-world problems within real constraints: budgets, regulatory requirements, and the practical realities of organisations across healthcare, research, education, finance, market research, and beyond.
My work sits at the intersection of two worlds that rarely meet: the rigour of research data management and governance, and the practicality of modern AI engineering. I've applied this combination across various Dutch healthcare organisations - delivering data management, custom IT tooling, and programming for clinical trial data pipeline projects across various partner organisations and teams - as well as in FAIR data infrastructure and hands-on training programmes for researchers across Europe.
Through GRO-DIET Foundation - Data · Intelligence · Education · Technology - I offer consulting, project delivery, and training that bridges strategy and implementation.

How I engage
I work well in both modes - choose what fits your organisation
Embedded · Permanent or Contract
For organisations that need a hands-on Data or Engineering Lead inside the team. I can step into Team Lead, Data Manager, or Senior Data Engineer roles - managing people, running sprints in Jira, owning Git workflows, and setting data strategy from the inside.
Consulting · Project or Retainer
For organisations that need specific expertise without a full-time hire. I take on scoped projects - FAIR assessments, LLM tool builds, metadata pipelines, AI workshops - or ongoing advisory to steer your data and AI strategy.
Relevant for: EU grant teams, research software projects, health data startups, organisations exploring AI adoption.
Working style
Amsterdam-based · Onsite in Amsterdam area · Remote across NL/EU
CET/CEST (EU timezone)
English (professional) · Dutch (B2)
Open to permanent Lead positions or strategic advisory roles. Focused on scaling Applied AI, data engineering and data management/governance frameworks - across research, health, public sector, and beyond.
